Well, to everyone's delight I'm gonna be signing off now, but I wanna leave you with one thought having to do with the army navy game this past weekend.

A player from each team one of their leaders was asked a question heading into the game and how they felt about the game

Individually, they each said almost the same thing we want to win this game badly and we're gonna fight to win it

But then something surprising happen and maybe the people on this blog might take light of that Individually, and without the knowledge of what the other one said, they both came out with the same comment afterwards without a question being posed

They both said they want to win this game very badly but when the game is over, we're both on the same side. We're both brothers. We defend and support America.

I wish more people here felt that way.

Expand full comment

Sorry, but there's nothing in me that allows me to call neo-Nazis and their moronic fellow travelers "my brothers."

I only wish Joe Biden had done the same with Hunter. Where was he when Hunter was in trouble with drugs And Joe got up in the Senate floor and said anyone with a quarters worth of Crack cocaine goes directly to prison no judge no parole ooops. And didn't show Devo any knowledge of his four-year-old granddaughter? Be fair with your response

Expand full comment

Im a mother and as a parent I love my child unconditionally. I would never disown my child because of their sexual orientation. I found it very offensive watching him carrying his son on his shoulders showing what a good dad he is. Think about the pain and anger his daughter felt seeing that.

Our country has a long way to go in terms of justice. When it comes to drug enforcement it’s worse. I’m sure you know that when a top drug supplier is busted they loose all of their assets. Home card art etc. The government then sells these assets at auction. Do you know where the money goes? It goes into the general fund. Now if the country really wanted to end the war on drugs wouldn’t you think the money should go toward rehab facilities? But they don’t want to win that particular war, it’s too lucrative.

Hunters story is tragic. I lost my brother years ago and it left a big hole in my heart. I felt like a part of me was missing. My parents were shattered and were in no shape to help me grieve, I had to help them. And I wasn’t the but of a political dog pile. Hunter has suffered enough. His prosecution was politically motivated. It was a joke and what did the likes of Marjory t Green accomplish other than shooting off her mouth? They didn’t work to improve peoples lives they worked to get spots on Fox News.

Trump is Elon's puppet

Expand full comment

Pam, you know better than that everybody here says he’s a malignant narcissist. Trump will never take orders from anyone; he delivers them

He happens to agree with musk, as does most of the country with less bloat so we can better take care of the needy and the poor and the homeless and our veterans.AND not continue to raise the deficit every four years.

I say if somebody runs for Congress take away their personal credit cards… they’re not allowed. Now let Congress offer a budget where they can’t exceed what they take in. Then maybe they’ll get the message

As well as term limits immediately, so that they can’t enrich them selves because of their position

Expand full comment

A malignant narcissist is not controlled by orders, Rick. He is controlled by praise and compliments. Oh, and Elon is perfectly capable of enriching the malignant narcissist personally to the tune of billions of dollars. That makes this particular coalition incredibly dangerous.

Expand full comment

Well, you see it's dangerous. I see it as both of them having mutual goals. Freedom in America. Less government and certainly less expensive government and fraud.

And if they work on that and lower expenses as they say, they will hopefully everybody will see that versus any side note.

I agree with you so are most people RICK. I'm not sure anyone doesn't appreciate compliments. And praise.

I have to disagree with you on the point Elon is the richest man on the planet by 200 billion as I mentioned in an earlier missive, he could live on 10 billion a year and still have more money in the bank then he has now when he dies.

Elon took a big risk in buying Twitter and he didn't buy it for the money RICK he bought it for the free speech because it was a losing proposition going in and now he's lost 30 billion and he could care less

Because before Twitter was 69% democrat 31% republican now that it's 50-50 all the liberal cowards are leaking over to blue sky where they don't have to be hearing the other side of the story an are 't met with confrontation

All they do is commiserate with each other and Whine about the human condition

Hate to disagree with you but as far as Trump is concerned he is following Elon's orders like a a hungry Puppy following his owner for dinner. My Motto "Who needs Putin we have Musk as Trumps Puppeteer.

Expand full comment

Nope. Maybe you should catch up Trump had his agenda ready to go along before Elon came along. Elon is just trying to lower the cost of the government and what he did today was exactly that. There was so much waste and pork in the bill that was on the table and if I'm not gonna tire you by reading it to you now but just take a look at 1547 pages dumped on Congress two days before the vote had to come in when they had from September to do this.

Some of the items in this bill were more than offensive. They were disgusting. Why don't you look at the key elements of the bail and you'll understand why it didn't get passed and Johnson got the wall pulled over more than his eyes. They pulled over his whole body. But Trump and musk didn't let it happen.

And if you have a problem with lowering the cost of the government, then shame on you because the government is full of bloat and fraud.

Go out on the street tomorrow and ask anybody if the government wastes money

Expand full comment

Bullshit! Biden won AZ by 11,000, 11,780 votes in Georgia, Pennsylvania by 80,000 votes, and so on!

Expand full comment

We have a totally fucked up system for elections! Most of the states have a clear red or blue majority, so NONE of their votes count. A few swing states are close to 50-50. So how those swing is all that matters. When a few thousand votes out of 150 million are all that matter in an election, that is INSANE!

And can anyone have any confidence that their vote is even counted, or not changed? Can anyone have any confidence that ballots were not 'lost', or 'created'? INSANE!

And can anyone today believe that the delegate system makes any sense, where low population state votes get more credit that high population vstate votes? INSANE!

To make voting proper:

1) Funding for elections must be limited to the same amount for each candidate.

2) One person, one vote. period!

3) Electronic ballots with a Voter ID number tied to the actual voter in a secure 'safe' .

4) Voter access to the database of ballots by Voter ID, for checking.

Wow only 10,000 cool. And the only state to stay as blue as it was was Washington state every other state went redder Including New York, California, and New Jersey the bastion of liberal control

And by the way, that's why we have the electoral college So that if three or four states had more population than the rest of the country, they would control the vote.

Expand full comment

So Wyoming with a populatio of about 600,000 gets 3 electoral votes and California with a population 39,000,000, and 54 electors makes sense?

That means electors per citizen in Wyoming is about 5, while electors per citizen in California is 1.4.

That is quite a typical red state advantage.

Well, someone else who thinks he has a crystal ball and an Ouija board at work. We see a sunrise coming up we see optimism, we see prices coming down. Prices will go up & inflation with it if Trump applies his 10%-25% or greater tariffs on imported goods. The consumer. will pay those percentages, not the country from which imported and not the American importer; they’ll

just pass the cost on down the line to YOU & every other working poor American & middle class. It wont touch the lifestyles of the rich like Musk, Trump & their ilk.

Expand full comment

Pamela is tariffs are not only terrorist for the sake of tariffs, but also a negotiating tool and they've already worked with Canada and Mexico, who have agreed to stop the caravans I've sincerely doubt that the tariffs will actually be effectuated. But you might not know that Biden kept almost all of Trump's tariffs and added a few of his own. But look what happened yesterday with the stock market, which was not just about the stock market, but bought the future of the economy and Bidenomics.

The fed chair stated he wasn't pleased with the direction of the economy, and didn't think that inflation would continue to come down and therefore reduce the number of rate cuts and tanked the market again an indicator of the current economic progress of the Biden administration

Expand full comment

Exactly what we don't need: more drilling. We are already culpable for the murder of future generations of humans so that we can live "in comfort." I would like to see us at least try to make Earth habitable as long as we still can. Can you imagine the terror and absolute horror those final generations will experience because of our selfishness?

Expand full comment

I might also mention that drilling is more than drilling for the sake of drilling and producing more product, but it's also a bargaining chip to the other oil producing companies/countries in the world. We took away Russia's glut of money from their oil production, and he runs as well and made it less probable for them to start waging war when they were not earning billions of dollars more through their oil, production or distribution

And now the European Union has tentatively agreed to buy natural gas and other pet petroleum products from us rather than from Russia so it's also a bargaining chip

Expand full comment

RICK, I'm sorry we don't agree. We are currently living in comfort and one of the funniest things I've said to people is if you didn't watch TV what would you know about climate change?

Here's the other thing almost every climate change prediction since the 1960s has been incorrect. And they keep pointing at the main culprit, which is Co2, which is .04% of our atmosphere.

At some point if you'd like me to delineate all the errors and all the miscalculations in thinking that climate changes an existential threat. All tangible evidence to the contrary.

Fossil fuels are currently the sustaining life on this planet and as plants and animals die, they will continue to be until we get back to using nuclear which we are starting to do again

There are a litany of predictions made by thousands of scientists and by thousands of dignitaries and by movies, etc., that have all been wrong, including for example, when you think of climate change, it's not weather and back in the 1960s, the prediction by a great group of people were the coming of the next ice age where the mail Placio layers would come down as far south as as Carolina

If you didn't know that climate change even existed or that the word climate change were appropriate. In the same sentence you never know anything happened.

Dream on. The economy tanked under Trump, and recovered under Biden. Tariffs alone cause prices on all imported goods to rise. Including food. Trump has essentially killed off Ford, Harley Davidson, John Deer, in his claimed quest to bring back manufacturing to the US.

Drill baby Drill? That is Putin's way to get money.

" The 2024 Atlantic hurricane season was a very active and extremely destructive Atlantic hurricane season which became the second costliest on record, inflicting at least $220 billion in damages and 400 deaths overall, most of which was caused by four systems: Beryl, Debby, Helene, and Milton."

"The most expensive hurricane season in the United States on record was 2017, when the total damage was over $300 billion after adjusting for inflation. This was due to two major hurricanes that made landfall in the United States during the season: Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Hurricane Irma in Florida. Hurricane Maria also devastated Puerto Rico during this season."

But, I guess you think Climate Change is a 'Chinese Hoax'.

Expand full comment

If Congress hadn’t been able to come to a compromise continuing resolution, people who had their property destroyed by Helene would have received no help. Climate change intensifies storms.

Expand full comment

Well, I'm laughing at you when you say the Atlantic hurricane season the Atlantic hurricane season was dead this year dead. All the deadly hurricanes began in the Gulf of Mexico or south of that not in the Atlanta coming off the African continent while the other people kept making excuses for why it wasn't happening.

In the meantime, El Niño and La Niña control everything

You know I've been following climate change for 60 years. And just so you know for the last few years I've been analyzing the so-called Noa and other climate scientist predictions for major storms and they've been about 50% correct but this year they were even more incorrect. In the month of August this year they kept wondering why there was no hurricane formation or tropical storm formation and they kept going. What's wrong. What's going on here? They overestimated the number of storms at the beginning of the season and all of a sudden storm started to rise in the Gulf of Mexico instead of the Atlantic. And you should wonder why that is.

But with every storm, especially with inflation, the cost of damage goes up, especially when the storms hit areas that are seldom hit like western North Carolina.

And I love the people that talk about for storms this year that's called weather. Ted climate is evaluated in terms of decades.

Ford killed off itself by the direction. It started to produce cars and EV's that didn't sell.

Not sure about your other assertions, but Biden kept almost all of Trump tariffS

And it wasn't tariffs that increased food prices

Hopefully, you'll see that once Trump takes office.

By the way, those with good negotiating skills might realize a tariffs are not just terrorist for the sake of being tariffs, but are also negotiating tools, which have worked well with Canada and Mexico

The problem/issue with America is that it became comfortable with buying things cheaper in order to do that they had to buy things from countries with incredibly cheap labor which started probably publicly with Levi's years ago, but that was just one example now everything is made in places like Indonesia and Guatemala, Nicaragua Bangladesh and that's what brings prices down and Americans don't want to pay the higher prices. They just want higher salaries, but they don't understand business because obviously higher salaries means higher prices which is exactly what happened to the restaurant industry in California. It's collapsing where profits used to be 4 to 5 times what they are today. And people could get more money from CDs than they came from running a business with all its risks.

And one day, you'll understand by the way the drill baby drill is not only good for Putin but good for America because complain as you might right now fossil fuels are what drives the world's businesses.

Thank goodness people are coming back to their senses and with a little bit of deregulation nuclear plants will come back online as they are planning to do including 3 mile Island it's only reregulation that stopped it

And I'm still getting a kick of your comment about the Atlanta hurricane season I have commentary from all the other people, including Noa about why aren't there more storms developing in the Atlantic the whole month of August? I kept talking about on slot of storms and they never occurred. But going back to my earlier point that's weather.

Not climate

So Musk, not a dummy, made promises and took over the start-up, kicking out one of the founders some time later.

Believe it or not, Musk is not an engineer, but a businessman. He could spot the obvious - it is great to own a monopoly. It is great to get government funding. So he has done both.

And, now seeing how politics can shape government policy, he is jumping up and down like a retard and taking advantage of the fools who believe Trump will do anything for the common people.

Musk raised lots of money and opportunity by cultivating an image of being a good genius. But now his image is being blown away by his corruption.

Expand full comment

Well to your last line, I'm not sure about his corruption. Maybe you know more.

But if you ever study Tesla, you'd know what happened with Tesla and the people around that company when Elon was ASKED to join was that the other partner got rid of the former partner because all his intentions were good the company was going nowhere Elon did not kick him out but people around the company at that time said that it was a good move because as I said below, the man had good intentions, but the company was going nowhere.

And eventually, Elon took over the company.

And people can question how he got to where he got to, but he did everything legally and now is the richest man on the planet by a couple hundred billion.

That's not the way and be all but some of the move he made when taking over other companies were very smart moves, making companies extremely more efficient on a lot less expense and I think that's where we're heading with the government that's the plan. We can only see going forward how it's going to work.

Expand full comment

Again that was the SpaceX engineers not Musk. He is not an engineer and he’s not a genius. He’s got a talent for making himself in the right place at the right time and taking credit for other peoples accomplishments.

Expand full comment

Fine then why didn't our government hire these engineers? Why can't our governor produce what he produces for a lot less money and he happened to cut the cost of many this companies substantially that were fueled with bloat and that's exactly why he's gonna be helpful to the American government.

You know a lot of people have done exactly that ben at the right place at the right time and many of them fail anyway

Here's a short list of people that went bankrupt and came back to be successful

H.J. Heinz PT, Barnum Steve Jobs Donald Trump, Abraham Lincoln Michael Jackson Dave Ramsey Henry Ford.

You can attempt to insult Elon Musk anyway you'd like, but you don't become the richest man by being wrong too many times

And by the way, he bought Twitter knowing it was a losing proposition and lost $30 billion in the process but gained free speech for America

Expand full comment

Teslas value has declined by 55%. X has lost 78%. SpaceX is being paid for by government contracts so far 20 billion dollars. There were many failures with his rockets which the government paid for. I don’t know why the government privatized our space program I think it was a mistake.

My father was in the Air Force for twenty years. He helped develop the first spy satellites many years ago. He didn’t make billions or millions from doing that. He did it for love of country.

Elon plans to cut Social Security and Medicare and other social services from the little people all the more money for him.

And I have to ask you. Don’t you think being the head of DOGE while receiving billions in contracts from the government is a conflict of interest? Given his track record with Tesla and X what qualifies him to have anything to do with running the country?

Did you know why Trump wanted to lift the spending ceiling before he was in office? Because he didn’t want it on his presidential history, he wanted it on Biden’s. And what was that extra debt spending

for? Tax breaks for billionaires and corporation. The Republicans of today are not like your dads or my dads Republicans. They are an elitist oligarchy that cleverly fooled the MAGAs. It will fail I’m just concerned about how many people will suffer these next for years.

Expand full comment

I too think it’s a serious mistake to privatize space exploration. We need to start strict enforcement of our anti monopoly laws, but that won’t happen again.

Expand full comment

Do you have a point?? at one point Trump was the only EV company that meant anything and now there are many competitors and he has even had to drop prices in order to compete, which is common business the government gave him contracts because he could do more than the government could with less cost, and you wanna know how many government rockets have blown up over the years even ones with asronauts in them?

Well, will you work for a company like the United States government as an employee you make X those in business take risks and make Y.

Well, I'm hoping and I have no way of knowing that one won't enhance the other I believe that doge is a good thing and many Democrats agree. The government is out of control. They can't balance a budget and the deficit continues to rise. Something needs to be done. And this is what we have at hand right now.

My suggest an earlier was simply this every congressman that comes to office needs to relinquish every credit card they have they're allowed to use credit for a home and a car and that's it then they have to spend their salary on how they live and hopefully they will learn how to balance a budget

Re EM, my partner and I would not buy Teslas. EM is as racist and arrogant as Rump. Both of them fit the description of autocrats. This was no landslide, and the press acts as though both of the fu*kers are president already.

If the social net and government services (roads, schools, clean water and air, police protection, public defenders, unspoiled open space--BLM) go south quickly enough, his supporters will notice. Of course they will try to blame Biden administration. Republicans have been planning this takeover step by step since Reagan.

What good are "poster board and acrylics" when the fascist party controls the Presidency, both houses of Congress, the Supreme Court, and most state legislatures? Yeah, you keep telling yourself this wasn’t a landslide, but then get yourself a mirror. He’s not only won the popular vote for the first time in 20 years they have control of the presidency, the Senate and the House

They got over 300 votes in the electoral college in the country is red and 49 out of 50 states went redder than before. Including New Jersey, New York, and California. He swept all the swing states and all the battleground states. And frankly, I don’t care if he won by one vote.

I don’t necessarily like the man to be honest what I like is all his policies and his love for America, which hopefully in control this time of the Republicans don’t screw it up will place him as one of the best presidents in American history Who your utter chagrin.

“Reality” TV has done an immense amount of damage by selling unreality like “The Apprentice.” Trump was likely in need of more income and the show sold him like he was a serious, prosperous businessman. He is actually a fake and a con artist. One of the first things the producers did was to replace the shabby and worn furniture in Trump’s offices.

Other shows also showcased bad behavior as bringing rewards, like conniving, dirty tricks, backstabbing and undermining others. Richard Hatch won the first version of “Survivor” by doing all of these things, then went to prison after he was convicted of tax evasion. It’s hardly a surprise some people think these behaviors are acceptable. Fox News engages in the false claim that it’s mere “entertainment,” but people take their past and present reporting of lies, half-truths and misinformation seriously, and the mainstream media outlets are adopting their tactics.

Donald Trump is the biggest supporter of Israel at this country has ever had so much for your BS. He actually was the first president in 40 years to actually keep his promise and move the capital of Israel to where it should be long and there are billboards across Israel With his face on it knowing that he will take care of them and he's already Threatened Hamas, that if they don't return the hostages by the time he takes office, there will be hell to pay and assuredly there willbe.

By the way, that general has since changed his tune, but that's not important. What you should know is that people like the military are supposed to follow the commander and chief and if they don't they get fired or they leave and then they're called disgruntled employees and they tend not to agree with the leader or his direction so to speak and I'm sure you're familiar with that.

So you're gonna blame him for the fault of his father. Maybe John Kennedy should've never been president because of what his father was.?

Why don't you enter the 21st-century? Why don't you judge Trump on what he does as president or what he did as president and evaluate why he's back in the White House that would be something interesting for you to do maybe some introspection

And I don't care if people are listening or they're not listening if two people listen and get a different side of the story. Maybe they'll look at things from a different perspective.

Joe Biden was a close friend of Robert Byrd hmmm and Joe Biden actually protested the first integration of blacks into white communities at by busing in Boston. Go read up on it. Maybe Joe Biden should've never been president for doing that

Well, the rodent king is the poster child that demonstrates >exactly< what I've meant and gotten blowback for years: "Capitalism is as inherently antidemocratic and backward in every way Communism is inherently antidemocratic and backward." Backward?

In times past, all capital resources were monopolized by kings, emperors, and other royalty. The point of fighting wars of aggression was acquisition of real estate and all the capital resources that real estate could provide - including the people living there. Think of yourselves as a capital resource to a plutocrat to get a vague glimpse into the state of mind those who had to suffer living under it - and are still living under it in a large part of the world - might have felt. The kind of fealty that sort of tyrant requires is the same as willingly agreeing to being the "liege's" chattel, to be disposed of as necessary. That's how the multiply convicted felon, jury adjudicated sexual predator and serial slanderer, along with his good pal "the rodent king" view US citizens. There's high probability some "interbreeding" will come to pass - as was always common amongst royalty. Compare that with what we've been hearing advocated, of late. Compare it with "family values," as well! Capitalism is about control of capital resources, and money is but one kind of capital resource. You and yours are capital resources, as well. Never forget that.

Having said that, I included his piece because it recognizes the condition we now face, affirms that what we are seeing is the reality of the condition we now face, and his blessing is just his way of saying "hang in there and keep the faith, folks." I don't see how that could do anything but be a pep talk we all need at this juncture. I also think it important for those of us who possess the - shall I say - gift of faith, that nobody here wishes to deprive them of it, and allow their faith reinforced by a good man they may relate to, that I happen to like, as well, and generally agree with on all but one issue - the same issue you take.

Agreed. "Star Wars" and "Dune" are SciFi comments on theology. Dune is more a comment on messianic faith, whereas Star Wars is more essential, dealing with the "demiurge," which bifurcates as the light side and dark side of "the force." You see that play out in just about every major religion that comes down the pike today. Religions generally have a social side that unifies, as well as an antisocial side - the light side and dark side of the force (the demiurge). Here are a couple of links that discuss the demiurge you may find of interest:

I think I read he gained 48% of those that DID care about America's future but were "exceptional" to VP Harris's 46%. Pretty pathetic they forgot Bunkerboy's FOUR recessions and 1,000,000+ kill count.

There IS still a future where he will not be able to kill us all: President Biden CAN still use the 14th Amendment . . .

I think I know the problem. You’re reading material. Where do you get yours?

Expand full comment

Pretty much everywhere. But here’s something you might want to try to see how biased the legacy media is and the social media group was until Musk ( Who bought an economic loser just to open up free speech) opened up Twitter to everybody. Google some generic, even non-political item with a name… see how many pages it takes or how many links it would take to get to a conservative website. I hadn’t really noticed this, but recently, I just put Gore/ bush into my browser. Nothing else. 216 links later OAN was found other than that. Not only were there all liberal or Democrat sites such as CNN, MSNBC etc. your usual suspects but even liberal newspapers from small towns called gazette, or called the dispatch… they were listed long before OAN and Fox wasn’t listed until 15 links after OAN which was 220 some odd links later. I found it quite interesting so I did a number of times, and it was essentially the same thing

How is that even possible without breaking the rules? How do you even compare the two? For myself, it’s not about how wealthy someone is. It’s about actually being committed to doing the right thing in spite of donations and pacs that are strictly about getting their way. Aren’t they instructed to represent their constituents?

Expand full comment

So, who exactly are you referring to? Are you 100% agree with your assertion that their job is to represent your constituents. And why do you think that that Musk is not one of those people. Goodness for him and opening up Twitter, which cost him about $30 billion of loss. Trump for example had been eliminated from a number of social media companies only to receive apologies lately including Zuckerberg. Free speech. And now that it’s there, as I mentioned earlier, before amazingly enough, blue sky was invented. Not that it’s a bad place, but it’s a place like this that only cares from one side of the aisle and the lemmings just follow along. Important to hear both sides of an argument or an issue just like in a quart room before rendering judgment. And not with a crystal ball or a Ouija board

How can he be speaker doesn't the speaker have to be a citizen as he's 3rd in line for president?

Expand full comment

You'd think but the 18th century language is vague on this point. It is "assumed" the Speaker of the House of Representatives, would be a sitting Representative of the same chamber. But it doesn't specify that in writing. The other problem of birth is sort of skirted around in Article2, Sections 4, 5, and 6. Upon removal of both President and Vice President the Speaker of the House of

Representative serves as "acting President" either until the end of the current Presidents term or a new election i called.

However this whole discussion is predicated on a continuing democracy. But the 2025ers prefer a theocratic dictatorship and a kick in the butt for the Constitution.

Apparently Putins propagandists started the whole Obama is not American thing. Trump picked it up. There is a straight line from Putin to Trump going back to the 1980s

The project 2025/ mAGA and extremist evangelical movements are aligned with Putin in as much as they consider a pure past, a mythical future where everything is ‘perfect’ and to get there they have to vilify people who don’t believe that, who are different. And to get there they have to repeat lies. But also tell lies that contradict the other lies. Putin did this internally in Russia regarding the Ukrainian War propaganda.

What evidence is there that Elon Musk knows anything about efficiency? His takeover of Twitter was catastrophic, firing huge swaths of people and then realizing they were needed and having to hire them back, ultimately making "X" an uglier and more deceitful platform and a sliver of its former self. Tesla can't move cybertrucks to the point they're paying people to stay home. Any NASA operation that crashed as many rockets as SpaceX would have been shut down long ago. The only thing he brings to the table is his ability to financially power through his bad decision making, the essence of inefficiency.

The DNC should accept all billionaire contributions, dark or otherwise, that will support returning this nation to a democracy. Until we repeal Citizens United.

Expand full comment

Absolutely. About the Supreme Court, all decisions made by the court since corruption appeared, need to be reviewed!

Expand full comment

So let’s see Obama appointed two people to the Supreme Court . Biden appointed one person to the court and I call it a person because it wasn’t sure if it was a woman or not; and then Trump appointed three which makes three appointed by the most recent presidents for the most recent appointments!

Expand full comment

So let's see -- Democrats appointed 3 justices over 3 terms (1 per term) and Trump appointed 3 in 1 term. That's not equal at all.

If you extend the comparison to an equal number of terms for each party by adding in W's 2 terms in office, he appointed two so that's five... So in the last 6 terms, 3 of which were Republican and 3 were Democrat, 8 of the current 9 justices were appointed -- 3 by Democrats and 5 by Republicans.

But that's getting a little bit complicated, isn't it? So let's keep it simple -- the corrupt ones are Republicans.

Expand full comment

Have you seen the autocracy that Joe Biden has just completed in the past week in a condition that doesn’t even allow him to stand up straight?

He just gave Angola $1 billion when there’s hundreds of thousands of homeless on the streets and impoverished. He just gave Ukraine $200 billion that we certainly could’ve used here first to feed the hungry and homeless and to provide other benefits without money like 100 1 billion just allotted in this latest build of Congress pass to provide money for the suffering of the hurricane disaster. We could’ve used it there instead of Ukraine.

And then he lied about not pardoning Hunter and then he pardoned him anyway, which everybody thought he would, and I have no problem with it at all, but he should’ve lied about it in the first place. And the worst thing about his partner was that he told World he knew nothing about Hunter‘s business. He would never talk to Hunter about his business. He had no involvement with his hunters business yet he knew the exact day from when to pardon him till now. Now Joe will have to pardon an entire litany of his family all the way down to nieces and nephews, so that they don’t start investigating those folks

He also tried another round of refunds for student loans which you and I will have to pay for and we’re responsible for. There’s an autocrat for you right there.
