Laurie, I agree with all the positive things you say about Biden, and I want him in for the next four years. However, the the ultra-conservatives, and billionaires are hard at work disassembling American democracy from the bottom up even if they cannot get the top slot this time. It is up to us and the younger and more diverse progressives to create and install a better form of democracy. Biden, Mitch McConnell, and Donald Trump are all older white men. (I am in that cohort also.) We need a system that fully represents our diverse population racially, ethnically, sexually and age wise. I think a system called тАЬEconomic DemocracyтАЭ can point the way.
