not real big on platitiudes...but the one we've heard since birth continues to be true:
Money IS the root of all evil... money buys power, and power buys more power, and the weak, the spineless, the corrupt, the traitors....take the money and do their handlers' bidding.. GRAFT, make legal by our UNsupreme court: Citizens United.
A more correct translation is тАЬmoney is the root of all SORTS of evilтАЭ. Money is just one source of evil, there are other тАЬtemptationsтАЭ listed in the Scriptures. Quite a few.

US Forest Service for decades has been source of inspiration for conservation to many around the world. Sharing our knowledge/expertise builds positive relations with other countries and helps the planet. Sending out balloons with Smokey Bear and a slogan at a balloon festival is a way to get attention of a segment that is likely to spend time outdoors (and thus a risk for starting forest fires). Another project was criticized for providing internet equipment to schoolsтАжreally??? So I agree that expenditures need to be evaluated. That is the job of the administrators and Congress. But lets not stop there. How about regulating big business, acquisitions leading to monopolies, decreased competition and price fixing?
