I am not an Always Trumper but do not know that much about Kamala. Honestly before the debate I had never heard or seen her speak. Tge media will spin all kinds of narratives as tge examples I used. I am really hard pressed to say who or what to trust. We are finding out that trusting the science wasn’t really the best……. So I do usually go to different sites etc to try to get a complete picture but as I said my humor was inappropriate and I am sorry. Peace

He and his wife are, and in her case were, such good and decent people. I went to a talk President Carter gave in Cleveland post-presidency, and he was so endearing. My favorite memory is his comment that he knew he wasn’t an exciting speaker the way Reagan was. But when he was delivering a speech in Japan, he tried in spite of himself to make a joke, and for once the audience cracked up laughing. He couldn’t believe it. He asked to see the Japanese interpreter afterward, and this man was shy, didn’t want to answer President Carter’s question: “What did you say?” After he couldn’t put off answering any longer, he admitted he told the audience “President Carter told a joke. Laugh.” Everyone in Cleveland exploded in laughter, including President Carter! What a mensch.
I live on the other side of the world and I shouldn't be interested in this debate other than for entertainment purposes. But Trump is such an existential threat to democracy everywhere I feel I have a stake in the outcome of this debate - and so do all my politically aware friends.
