I didn't want to click on "like," but I see what you are pointing out and it is happening to us. What you said is so true and makes me feel sick. I lived through the 1950's as a teenager, a new bride, and a new mom. Those times were brutal and so many brave people fought for what was called Civil Rights. Fought and won. Sadly, there was always an undercurrent of NOT. It is so bad now, that it makes those of us who went through those times in our history even more fearful, for we've seen where we were and now we see how we are going back to those times.
It is so terrible and in looking back, I can see it was always happening in some sectors. Now, though, it is from the top of government on down. Before, our government was on the side of the law. Now it is not. That is the scariest part of all that is happening now, in these times. Today.

We have baked in foibles that we only overcome when we have the self-awareness and humility to admit to them and self correct - or we can just enjoy and celebrate them (they feed our vanity so well). Every generation has a chance to be taught this - or not. How do we rate our recent teaching?
