I am unaffected by the recording quality, because of my hearing loss. That being said, is it possible to read a transcript of these coffee klatchs? As you cover any number of topics that I am interested in learning about.

Me too. I would like access to a transcript.

Seconding that! (As long as someone is making a change, a transcript would be great!)

Here's the bottom line: I don't care if you have technical problems from now until the sun burns out. I don't care if you post at the "wrong" time. I don't care if you misspell words. I don't care if you royally screw up. I have learned more from you in the last year than I have ever previously known about so many things--including the REAL causes of problems. I have absolutely no doubt that you have made me a better person by helping me become clearer about what's true. That means I can make better decisions and have better impact and leave a better social and political footprint. I am stronger now, and I stand up faster and more resiliently than I have before. Thank you.

Well said! I second that statement. Could not have said it better.

Despite what you said at my son's graduation,

Secretary Reich, Dartmouth , 2004, you never have to be "short"! ❤️❤️❤️

I would vastly prefer to read transcripts than sit and listen on the computer or phone. Transcripts are free online now! Until you provide transcripts I will miss your conversations and classes, just so you know. I pay for a subscription and would like to READ your words! Thanks, Lou

It’s says a lot about you that your fans just kept listening until the end anyway. You’re easy to forgive. Thanks for all you do!

I asked ChatGPT where does the the expression ‘coffee klatch’ come from:

The expression "coffee klatch" originates from the German word "Kaffeeklatsch," which combines "Kaffee" (coffee) and "Klatsch" (gossip or chit-chat). It refers to a social gathering where friends or acquaintances come together to enjoy coffee and engage in informal conversation. The term gained popularity in the United States, particularly during the mid-20th century, when informal coffee gatherings became a common social activity for women in their homes or local coffee shops. These gatherings provided an opportunity for people to catch up, exchange news, and engage in casual conversation. Today, the term "coffee klatch" is still used to describe such social gatherings centered around coffee and conversation.

While it wasn’t the ‘Segway’ I was looking for to roll into what I was thinking and come up with a funny caption to capture a moment, I will offer that it’s the casual quality of these klatches that I keep me coming back to. So much seriousness does not lead anywhere worth ending up at.

@Robert Reich--I listened through anyway, and think I got a lot of it, even as it was, but will be happy to review it in a smoother form, once you've got it ready. Thank you!

Great discussion, as always.
