There is fear-mongering from above, and then there are the 'concerned citizens' who leave leaflets pushing our Constitutional right to throw 'No I won't!' tantrums. I just saw a few on a table outside my coffee cafe across the street.

For me, the most aggravating consequence in the pandemic comment lore is the sudden number of Constitutional experts, convinced that the Founding Fathers foresaw events like this, then proceeded to write in non-compliance instructions as 'freedoms'. The only such are enumerated in the First Amendment. The '..speech' and 'redress of grievances' I understand; I can't find the right to be petulant ..
