I understand the resentment of what the Democratic Party has become, what I don’t understand is how the people who voted for Trump can’t see he is part of the exact same systems that they have become disillusioned with.

I mean if toting around the world’s richest man at a campaign stop isn’t a big red flag then I don’t know what is.

Professor Reich: i agree that the wealthy are the main reason for much of the rage that was directed against the establishment. as an unemployed person who supposedly did everything right (no kids, quality education, etc.) i feel this rage, too. but regardless of how angry i am at the way things are in america, i cannot understand how any rational human could vote trump in a SECOND TIME after the HELL he put the nation, and indeed, the entire world through during his first term. it's a huge betrayal of women, minorities and dreamers, not to mention immigrants with various states of immigration paperwork. it will be amusing to see trump try to meet his presidential duties when a large number of countries rightly refuse to allow him on their soil for any reason because he's a felon and adjudicated rapist. i also am hopeful that NYC will have the balls to actually lock him up for his entire term, as i've been reading could happen due to a NY legal loophole.
