This morning, Starbucks founder and CEO (until last week) Howard Schultz appeared before the Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee to answer questions from its chair, Bernie Sanders, and other senators about Starbucks’s illegal anti-union practices. Schultz agreed to testify only after being threatened with a subpoena.
