Spot on and very dismaying. The tyranny is upon us. We either fight back now in unison or lose our democracy for the next generation — or longer.

OK, they are not quite working in the shadows on this, the 2025 document was pretty clear to all of us. But for it to work we (or at least their base) have to buy into their narrative, they are rooting out corruption and fraud, correcting the disastrous economy, the insidious DEI plot to replace the chosen, etc. All to obscure the goals old as time, ever more money and power. The brazen sense of entitlement and greed never ceases to be stunning.

It is informative to look closely at History - and be discerning in which accounts are studied because books are written by the victors.

Rome is the most Historic city on this tiny planet - followed perhaps by Alexandria for a Millenium until their Library got Burned. Alexander was the first and perhaps the only Human to ever rule the known world and within a few generations of his death there was no more united monarchy

Look at King David - he was a shephard with a big brain and a massive heart and more courage than his son Solomon. A Millenium later Jesus was exiled to Egypt and came back to Jerusalem and flipped the tables on Herod and the Cohen class of other Jews. He was a Nazzarene and the Essenes had their own version of the words of their one god. Jesus!

Has anyone ever even heard of Mussolini anymore? How did Italy and Rome fall to fascism and then get in with Hitler and why did Stalin step up to win the war for the Rest of the World?

The Earth is not a Mystery anymore - we know that it is round and small and floating in a milky way of billions in an ever expanding universe. Who cares if the Speed of Light can be tricked or if we learn that Aliens are watching us at this crossroads. Who cares if Ray Kurzweil warned us about the Singularity and there cannot be a Myriad of Winners in the Space Race or the AI Race and there are finite resources. WHO CARES?

There were proto humans in America - all over North and South America - before the Incas or Atztec or Cherokee - they came in boats from the south pacific so we are all descendents of Black and Yellow people who had skills that were lost in the last ice age. WHITE is not even A color.

The only constant is Change. Nothing is immutable in time or space but the rate of change is variable and where we are going can be modeled. THIS IS CHAOS and it is BAD

Fascism is not new nor is it absent from Monarchies in decline or in so called Republics that prefer to collude than get bombed - such as the Vichy French. There are Nazis in Ukraine and the US has more than some intellectuals want to acknowledge. Strong Men are on the rise - even as their manhood goes limp with old age or in Putin's case a fear of germs and assasins.

Look at how Trump fawns over Strong Men and Zuckerberg has now denounced progressive ideas as gay so he can boast his masculinity. Look at how such Men are afraid of Strong Women and are secretly or overtly Homophobic.

These are the days of the ascent of Heinous Men - their ass scent trailing whilst the smartest and most opportunistic follow in the wake and say "ooh, that air smells like napalm in the morning" . Secretly, or in their Encrpyted IPhone Ap, they say "The Emporer is a Fool and his gas smells like RFK Jrs fast food project"

Together with Hydrogen cars - this gas could solve the energy crisis

Yes, and remember everyone: Election Security is National Security, too! My new post is getting read & shared to help achieve an Election 2024 audit in Pennsylvania with a focus on Philadelphia, Erie & Allegheny (includes Pittsburgh) counties. New data analyses warrant audits due to suspected vote flipping (now being more suspected across many swing states). Please see the information from Election Truth Alliance (ETA) on their ongoing research in my post + the petition created by Dire Talks (also the name of ETA Co-Founder Nathan Taylor's YouTube channel) to #VerifyTheVote and #AuditPA (Pennsylvanians' petition signatures are most needed per ETA). Janette - Here is what I wrote, sending it everywhere, starting on Nov 15 or so. It's only one possible scenario, but because of the time frame and money available, I think it's highly likely.

The techbroligarchs and coup d'etat planners had four years, essentially unlimited money, and inside help from red and swing state elections apparatuses to subvert the election. They did this by stealing the coding for the voting machines in states where they're used, and rewriting the code to perform whatever function they wanted, such as eliminating every third democratic vote. They did this slowly, methodically, and purposefully over the four years between 2020 and 2024, and completely under the noses and radar of legitimate elections officials. Remember that in the affected states, aggrieved resentment at the “steal” in 2020 led some elections workers to grant improper access to trump operatives, and some of those workers were prosecuted. The techbroligarchs had more than ample money to buy, bribe, extort or blackmail as many workers as were required to implement, monitor, and facilitate the changes.

This is why dumpster said "you (we) won't need to vote anymore" or in another case, in extremely bored tone, "i don't need your votes". there were other similar statements. Remember how demented and bored and idiotic he was on the campaign trail this past summer? that was all deflection, distracting everyone from the astonishing sleight of hand going on. Note his demeanor and presence now. It's completely different, isn't it. Remember also that the states conduct elections, not the federal gov't. This makes every election theoretically subject to systemic manipulation and fraud. Which is why we used to have the voting rights act before the Roberts’ court emasculated it. because, y'know states' rights to conduct fraudulent elections and voter suppression. Finally, any expectation that this can be righted at the next "election" is seriously delusional. The techbroligarchs won. AI will only solidify it all.

I think this is entirely possible. But exit polls show a lot of Democrats stayed home and wouldn’t vote for a woman (or a black woman). We need not debate this anymore. Categorizing Trump and all of his cronies is like calling Jackie Robinson a DEI Hire. The entire debate is why the Liberals lost and to even suggest that Robinson was anything less than heroic and actually superior to every other player in the MLB in 1947 - in terms of his skills and his virtues overall there is no comparison. Babe Ruth was a fat drunk - there were better players than him in the Negro League

This age of false equivalency and polarization is the same dynamic that enables a great lawyer to defend either side of a case.

People of conscience who have a free mind - these people do exist. I am one and I meet others every day when I walk around New Orleans with my dog and girlfriend. They are tourists who come to this festive city to get away from their enclave or they left somewhere else to live in a melting pot.

America is not a thing of the past or the future. America is right now

Citizens United was the beginning of this trajectory by letting the elected leaders agree that corporations are not people or that people can hide behind corporate shields to do whatever they want. There is no accountability and there is no cap on the Greed and Deception. We now have the wolves and the Sheep conspiring to watch the food that they both eat before us fleas. It does not matter that the wolves are eating micky Ds and calling beef tallow the health food - some people know that eating organic chicken sitting in plastic under a heat lamp is dripping PFAS into their fancy foods.

Free Thinkers will continue to think freely - in their own Singular way. That is the best that Humanity can achieve - whilst the Herds follow the Leaders into the Future and let the geniuses come up with words for what just happened.

Republicans following Trump and almost unanimously supporting what are clearly incompetent picks to lead government agencies may be the big story. I remember when we were children in the 50s and 60s, we'd consider what history might be like if someone had assassinated hitler or stalin. many of my friends were Jewish, and in those days the holocaust was still fresh in peoples' minds. my best friend in high school had parents with the tatoos on their arms from the camps. Ghandhi and India were still fresh also, and nonviolence accomplished what nothing else could do to rid India of the British. I remember having arguments with friends about how could nonviolence work against the nazis. Over the course of my life, i've come to feel that murder, whether state sponsored or individual, doesn't really solve anything and simply continues the cycle of violence.

It is an anger that you can't release at anyone around you because they also share your beliefs and that feeling of powerlessness and that the message isn't reaching the right people or the fear many may get numb to it.

One thing I have always felt helpful when I don't have the outlet or ability to work out my anger is to write down my thoughts. Sometimes putting feelings on paper helps our brain to feel as though we've released it. Even just making bullet points can be helpful.

It may also help to talk with others who share your concerns like you did with your comment just now.

Sometimes, I channel that anger into a letter to one of my senators or representatives. Sometimes when my husband and son are tapped out, my dogs just really get an earful which may be giving them stress too! You could also imagine a good punishment for them here on earth or afterwards.

I applaud your optimism, George. Trump won a majority of votes, because he promised a new golden age marked by low prices and safe borders. Prices are going up, and deportations are distracting from the fact that drugs continue to flow into the country. Also noteworthy, and the NYT has a very important article about this in today's issue, is that American jobs continue to flow abroad. They are IT jobs now, no less valuable than manufacturing jobs. Trump and Musk are betraying MAGA. Steve Bannon complained about this, and a Green Beret veteran committed suicide over this, right in front of a Trump hotel. Every patriotic American is for America first, but not for the hoax Trump campaigned on. At the very least, we must demand that Congress start fulfilling its responsibilities to the people and, instead of a billionaire's tax, pass a windfall profits tax on the hiring of foreigners, whether at home or abroad. The additional revenue should be allocated to train and educate American workers. We must also demand, and not just with words, that the federal government issue unemployment compensation to all laid off workers. The government made a commitment to them when it hired them. At least at home, the US government should honor its commitments.
